The PLA 12 is an alarm annunciation module for marine / industrial application using an advanced and highly reliable micro-controller based programmable device. Its function is to alert the operator about the desired alarm condition by means of visual and acoustics signal indication.

 

The PLA12 is built up of solid state modules and integrated circuits. In order to avoid electromagnetic interference, low noise logic system is used. This system has a high signal to noise ratio, (both static and dynamic) than a transistor-transistor-logic. This module can be located at the machinery space or control room where it is easily observed and noticed by operator to monitor the normal condition and alert any abnormal condition.

Description and Salient Features:

 

The PLA 12 Alarm unit has a total of 12 alarms. The front panel consists of 12 pairs of bright red LEDs against the relevant text label describing the alarm indication and one green LED for power supply indication along with a common audio alarm. In addition it is also provided with three operating switches (push keys) for the functions of ‘Test, Mute and Reset’.
